DARTMOUTH, Devon – St Clement, Townstal.

Repairs planned 1924

25 July 1924 the firm of Dart and Francis were asked for estimates for work on the floor (£100) and the tower screen (£233).

On 6 July 1925 new estimates were sent: oak beams £80; ringers’ floor and tower screen with balustrade £227. They suggested they could do it all £300.

On 15 July 1925 the above estimates apparently accepted.

On 4 Feb 1926, Dart and Francis have had no further news.

It seems nothing had been done by Fellowes Prynne’s death in 1927.
